Newspaper Delivery Person

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Newspaper Delivery Person to join our team. In this
\n role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of newspapers to customers
\n across designated routes. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, punctual, and
\n committed to providing excellent customer service. It is a full time permanent role with minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver newspapers to designated routes or areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
\n
• Follow predetermined delivery schedules and routes, optimizing efficiency while maintaining punctuality.
\n
• Handle and organize newspaper bundles in a neat and organized manner for efficient distribution.
\n
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
\n
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering a sense of trust and reliability.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and payments.
\n
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding delivery perations,safety guidelines, and customer service standards.
\n
• Report any delivery issues, such as missing or damaged newspapers, to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns.
\n
• Stay updated on company policies, news publications, and delivery practices to ensure the highest level of service.
\n

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license OR equivalent overseas license
\n
• Strong time management and organizational skills
\n
• High attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
\n
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying bundles
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines
\n
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
\n
