About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using Auckland's transport system. The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for you to make your mark on a large-scale road maintenance contract as our Traffic and Corridor Asset Manager. You will lead the development of asset management plans for all corridor and traffic assets across the motorway network, ensuring that these assets are operated, maintained and enhanced in an integrated, safe, and cost-effective manner. Taking a whole-of-life approach to asset management, you will work across planning, design, maintenance and renewal activities to optimise asset performance, support investment decisions and ensure accurate asset information is available to guide network outcomes. What you will be doing: As Traffic and Corridor Asset Manager you will have a variety of responsibilities including: Developing and delivering long-term asset management strategies and plans for corridor and traffic assets. Managing asset performance, condition, maintenance and renewal programmes to optimise whole-of-life outcomes. Maintaining accurate asset data, condition information and asset management systems, including RAMM. Collaborating with operational, delivery and stakeholder teams to develop forward works programmes and investment plans. Providing technical leadership, reporting and asset management advice to support network performance, customer outcomes and NZTA requirements. About You: Our ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills: Minimum 3 years' asset management experience within the road construction, transport infrastructure or maintenance industry. Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles and practices. Experience using RAMM or similar asset management systems. Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret asset condition and performance data and translate insights into practical asset management strategies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams. A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
