About the Role: The National Manager of ECE plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of The Salvation Army Early ChildhoodEducation services across the nation, overseeing operational aspects and providing guidanceand direction to ensure ECE services align with our overall goals and objectives. The Manager monitors and facilitates compliancewith legislative requirements and best practice models of care and education. The Manager maintains the effectiveness of services, including to inspire and guide teams, evaluate outcomes, strengthen problem-solving and identify opportunities for collaboration. The Manager oversees procedures andensures resources are available for services to remain relevant and impactful. Functional relationships: The services and programmes are delivered within the Mission department of The Salvation Army (TSA) National and local Salvation Army expressions and functions, to support the wider Salvation Army holisticmission and objectives External stakeholders, community partners, contract providers and funders What will your responsibilities be: Supporting the successful operations of our four early childhood education centres. (Auckland and Wellington) Line management of centre managers, on call support and guidance. Site visit to maintain quality provisions and service. Curriculum, pedagogical and licensing support. Child Protection concerns, incidents and injuries are adequately supported across services. Health and Safety aspects of centre management are overseen and supported. The starting salary for this role will fall between $105,000 and $130,000 per annum , pro- rata based on hours worked.
