Forestry Machinery Plant Operators

Our Mount Maunganui branch is looking to hirereliable and experienced operators for heavy forestry machinery. The roleinvolves operating Wagner's, Maffi's, high stackers and pivot steer heavymachinery to load/unload logging trucks/rail wagons and stack logs ready forloading onto log vessels in a port environment. Flexibility with working hours is required as thereare a range of shifts required to cover this operation, which includes workingnights and weekends. Experience in a port environment and/or forestryexperience would be advantageous, as well as an ability to operate log loadingmachinery, however training can be provided for the right candidate. Essential requirements for the position are: Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders& high stackers A minimum Class 1 licence with W endorsement A strong focus on Health and Safety An ability to work to deadlines Flexibility and reliability You may be required to demonstrate your abilities inthe form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selectionprocess.
