About the Role We are seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join ourChild Development Service (CDS). This rewarding role provides assessment,intervention, and support for children with disabilities and developmentalneeds, working in partnership with their whānau and wider support networks. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will: Deliver physiotherapy services that promoteparticipation, independence, and wellbeing; Work across a variety of settings includingclinics, homes, early childhood centres, and schools; Provide evidence-based assessment andintervention tailored to each child's individual goals. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationshipswith tamariki and whānau whilemaking a lasting impact on their development and quality of life. This is a permanent, part-time role working 64 hours perfortnight (0.8 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00AM to 6.00PM. Noon-call is required. About the Team/Service/ Location The Child Development Service (CDS) team has a strongcommitment to child protection and is dedicated to helping tamariki achieveoptimum function and wellbeing. We provide multi-disciplinary therapy forchildren with disabilities referred to the service, in partnership with theirwh ā nau. This role is community-basedand works closely with whānau,educators, and other healthcare professionals to support positive outcomes for tamarikiand young people across the region. About you As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will: Be a New ZealandRegistered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate Have experience workingwith children and young people, preferably within a paediatric orcommunity setting; Demonstrate excellentassessment, communication, and relationship-building skills; Be able to workeffectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; Hold a full New ZealandDriver Licence. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or holda valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
