About the Role This could be an ideal opportunity if you are an experienced Registered Nurse looking for flexibility of work hours and clinical variety. As a casual member of our team, you will be offered work on an 'as and when needed' basis, across a wide range of clinical settings. About the Team/Service/ Location The IOC provides a comprehensive clinical and operational service 24/7, ensuring patient safety, optimising resource allocation, and supporting effective hospital management. The IOC incorporates a range of critical services, including Transit Nursing, Allocation and Casual Nursing, the Transit Hub, Variance Response Nursing, the Duty Nurse Manager (DNM) team, and the National Travel Assistance service. About you An enthusiastic and professional nurse with at least 3 years of acute nursing experience and relevant competencies - ie. IV therapy,self-motivated to engage in ongoing professional development. You are an excellent communicator and establish rapport effectively with a diverse range of people Positive and flexible with a passion for nursing excellence. Ideally you have an interest in providing care within multiple clinical settings & specialties Regular work availability for a variety of shifts is preferable Prior experience working within the New Zealand health setting is highly desirable Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
