2-year fixed term opportunity through to August 2028 Auckland or Wellington based role Join our supportive collaborative team Te tūranga - The role Join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of key payment systems that enable timely settlement of transactions between financial institutions. As an FMI Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of New Zealand's financial market infrastructure services. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll contribute to a wide range of operational activities, including: Supporting the day-to-day operation of NZClear, ESAS, and Corporate Actions servicesProcessing operational activities and transactions accurately and within required timeframesReconciling financial systems and completing key operational controls and checksSupporting system testing, implementation, and validation activitiesInvestigating issues and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyWorking closely with internal teams, participants, registries, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service deliveryContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high operational standards This role may require periodic after-hours availability and on-call support.
