About the Role AsClinical Administrative Support in the EmergencyDepartment, you will be working within a multi-disciplinary teamincluding doctors, nurses, other clinical professionals and administrationstaff. Your primary responsibility will be for reception and administrationduties to enable the smooth flow of patients through the department, including ensuringpatient documentation is maintained and up to date. ED shifts: Early 06.45-15.15 hours 07.45-16.15 hours Late 12.00 - 20.00 hours 15.00 - 23.00 hours 16.00 - 00.00 hours Night 23.00 - 07.00 hours This is a permanent, part-time position working 64 hours per fortnight(0.8 FTE), rostered and rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday. There is no on-callrequired. We are looking for applicants who would enjoy the variety of shiftwork, and who are happy to work on a rostered and rotating basis. During the training phase it will beimportant that you are available to train across all shifts. Please view the position description for furtherinformation. About the Team/Service/ Location The Emergency Department Administration team providesessential support to one of the hospital's busiest services. Operating 24 hoursa day, 7 days a week, the team works closely with clinical staff to ensurepatients receive timely and efficient care. About you Haveexcellent customer service and reception skills; Remaincalm and professional in a busy and sometimes high-pressure environment; Demonstratestrong computer literacy and administration skills; Beable to learn new systems and processes quickly; Workeffectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; Beflexible and available to work rostered early, late, and night shifts. Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZvisa at the time of applying.
