As we shape this future together, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised International Partnerships Coordinator to join our International team. This exciting role will support the development, management and administration of strategic international partnerships that enhance the global engagement and reputation of MIT and Unitec. About the role: As the International Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the establishment and maintenance of international partner relationships, student mobility initiatives, collaborative projects and partnership agreements. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help ensure our international activities align with strategic priorities and deliver positive outcomes for students, staff and partners. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and maintaining international partnership agreements and associated documentation. Supporting the development and implementation of international collaboration activities. Liaising with international partners, educational institutions and internal stakeholders. Coordinating international visits, meetings, events and delegations. Monitoring and reporting on partnership activity and outcomes. Maintaining accurate records and databases relating to international partnerships. Providing administrative and project support for international initiatives and programmes. Supporting the identification and development of new international partnership opportunities, particularly within the Chinese education sector. About you: To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience coordinating projects, programmes or partnerships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems. A collaborative, customer-focused approach and cultural awareness. Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is desirable but not essential because a significant part of this role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective partner institutions in China and supporting related international partnership activities. Ideally, you will have: Experience working within the tertiary education sector. Knowledge of international education and global partnership activities. Experience working with Chinese educational institutions and partner networks. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
