Sommerville School is a leading specialist school based in Panmure, with satellite classrooms across 15 mainstream schools, a community programme for young adults aged 18–21, and a dedicated Outreach Service. We support students aged 5 to 21 with complex communication, learning, physical, and behavioural needs. You’ll work alongside teacher aides, therapists, and specialists to deliver meaningful, individualised learning programmes. Experience in specialist or inclusive education is an advantage, but passion, adaptability, and a commitment to making a difference matter most. A relevant teaching qualification and current Teaching Council practising certificate are required. A current full New Zealand driver licence is preferred.
