Product Manager - Home Lending (12-Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract) At ASB, we're all about helping our customers get one step ahead in life. We're looking for a Product Manager (12-month fixed term contract or secondment) to join our Home Lending team and help shape the future of how customers access and experience home lending. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside product, technology and business teams on initiatives that support the future of home lending at ASB. As a Product Manager, you'll drive the development and delivery of initiatives across our Home Lending portfolio. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, solve complex problems and deliver improvements that create value for both customers and ASB. You'll help shape product roadmaps, support the delivery of strategic priorities, lead risk and compliance improvements, and contribute to the ongoing modernisation of our home lending products and processes. Some of the key areas you'll be involved in include: Developing and delivering product strategies and roadmaps. Supporting technology modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to design effective solutions. Ensuring products remain compliant with regulatory and governance requirements. Providing product expertise and guidance across the organisation. Supporting strong risk management practices and customer outcomes. Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful? We're looking for someone who is customer focused, commercially minded and enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: At least 4 years' experience in product management or a related role, with proven experience delivering product initiatives from discovery through to implementation. A strong understanding of banking, financial services or lending products. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence across a range of audiences. The ability to understand customer and business needs, translate them into practical solutions, and work collaboratively to deliver outcomes. Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement, balancing customer outcomes, business objectives and risk considerations. An understanding of the New Zealand regulatory and legislative environment for financial services. Experience in home lending, lending products, risk, compliance or broader banking environments will be highly regarded. Experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting business change initiatives will also help you succeed in this role.
