As a Storeperson in Air NZ Christchurch Lounge , you’ll manage the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to support daily lounge operations. You’ll ensure compliance with food safety standards, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to keep everything running smoothly. This is a Casual Position where hours of work are "as and when" required basis upon business needs. Therefore, you MUST be available to work during weekends. Receive, unload, and store stock safely, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with food safety standards. Conduct and record temperature checks using the Safe Food Pro system and report any deviations promptly. Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently while maintaining correct product information and freight documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in storage areas, including waste removal and equipment care. Communicate effectively with managers and team members, ensuring timely updates and adherence to company procedures. A reliable team player with strong communication and organisational skills. Physically fit and able to safely lift and handle items weighing 15–25 kg as part of daily duties. Flexible, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in stock handling or warehousing is an advantage. Knowledge of food safety standards and manual handling practices preferred.
