Mō te tūnga | About the role Working within the People Experience team, Customer Experience Consultants are an integral part of our wider People Services team, where you will triage and action day-to-day requests within the NZ Defence Force. We're growing our team and introducing changes in how we work, with a focus on delivering an excellent people experience. Based at the NZCIS campus in Trentham, the team provides a centralised way of doing business across the NZ Defence Force. Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for queries to People Services Deliver exceptional service and answer a range of queries from our personnel Process personnel data and transactions Assist with pay and admin Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience You will provide an outstanding experience to NZDF customers and stakeholders. You'll be a confident communicator who puts the customer first and delivers through high quality information and support. Strong customer service and relationship management Great written and verbal communication skills with comfort in using a variety of contact channels (phone, email etc.) A positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to adjust your communication style to suit others Able to professionally and positively communicate our brand and services Confidence in using MS Office suite or the ability to learn computer systems quickly Experience in admin or call centre environment would be an advantage but isn't a requirement. This role is a good introduction to a career in HR and Payroll.
