Our Shore Road Campus in Remuera is home to our Pre‑School, Boys’ School and Girls’ School, supported by a welcoming community of students, families and staff. The opportunity We are looking for a friendly, practical and service‑focused person to join our Uniform Shop team in a permanent, part‑time role, based at our Shore Road Campus in Remuera. The Uniform Shop supports students and families by providing helpful advice, accurate uniform fittings and a welcoming and efficient service. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining customer service, sales, online orders and stock management with responsibility for maintaining an organised and well‑presented shop environment. Key responsibilities include: Assisting students and families with uniform selection and fittings Processing shop sales, returns and online orders Receiving, checking, barcoding and replenishing stock Supporting daily balancing and reconciliation processes Maintaining tidy, accurate and appealing shop displays Keeping the shop and stockroom welcoming, safe and well organised About you We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in providing excellent customer service and producing quality work. You will be organised, reliable and attentive to detail, with a practical approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in wherever needed. You will ideally bring: Previous retail or customer service experience Confidence using computer‑based sales systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A warm, helpful and professional approach The ability to work effectively as part of a small team A commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming and well‑organised environment As this role works closely with students and families, you will understand the responsibilities of working within a school environment and be committed to Saint Kentigern’s health and safety and safeguarding expectations. Working hours The regular working hours are 8.00am–4.00pm every Monday and Thursday. These days and hours are fixed, so applicants must be available to work this schedule. Additional hours will be required during busy periods, particularly in October and November. Applicants must also have the flexibility to support the team with extra hours during these times.
