Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week Juted Frame & Truss is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Waihi. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the building or construction industry who enjoys working with plans, numbers, and customers. About the Role As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and timely quotations for frame and truss projects. Working closely with builders, customers, suppliers, and our production team, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Preparing frame and truss estimates and quotations. Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications. Liaising with customers, builders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within agreed timeframes. Providing outstanding customer service and technical support. Assisting with project handovers and administration as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous estimating experience within the building, construction, timber, or frame and truss industry. The ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good computer skills and the ability to learn industry-specific software. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A positive attitude and a team-focused approach. Experience with MiTek or Pryda software in a similar estimating or frame and truss role would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of frame and truss design software and the building industry would be beneficial. What We Offer Full-time position, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
