Job Description
Manukora is a New Zealand-based Manuka honey brand on a mission to bring the world's most authentic, ethically sourced honey to people who care about what they put in their bodies. We sell direct-to-consumer, on Amazon, and through retail partners across the US, GCC, and UK. We're a fast-growing team that moves with urgency, values real relationships, and sets the bar — not just meets it. About the Opportunity You will be the FP&A engine of Manukora's finance function — driving the monthly variance story, the planning cycle, and the commercial deep-dives that shape how we allocate our resources as we scale globally. We're looking for a Financial Analyst who doesn't just report what happened — someone who explains why it happened and what to do about it, and is just as comfortable presenting that view to leadership as building the model behind it. You'll work closely with our Finance Lead, becoming the person the business turns to for the real story behind the numbers. What You'll Own Monthly performance rhythm — turning numbers into action. You’ll drive variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) feeding the Monthly Operating Review draft every month, with every material variance explained by root cause, business impact, and a recommended action with a named owner. You’ll stand up and run monthly business reviews across the business — each with a pre-read pack, clear KPIs, and actions that get closed out, not just logged. The analytical backbone of the planning cycle. You’ll be the engine behind the quarterly reforecast, the Quarterly Operating Review pack, and the annual budget cycle — refining the templates, running the consolidation, and reconciling top-down to bottom-up so leadership can trust the numbers going into every board conversation. Commercial deep-dives that drive real decisions. You’ll partner on pricing, channel economics, and the big ad‑hoc questions — building repeatable tooling (a pricing toolkit, self‑serve channel dashboards) along the way, so your answer is trusted enough to be cited directly in Exec and channel reviews. Who You Are You get the numbers right, every time — your analysis stands up to scrutiny and reconciles back to source. You don’t leave a variance unturned — if a number doesn’t make sense, you don’t stop until it does. You're commercially minded — you understand how Manukora makes money and what the unit economics require, and you bring a point of view. You're a storyteller — your written commentary is clear enough that non‑finance leaders act on it without translation, and you're just as strong presenting live to leadership. You build trusted relationships across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Ops — comfortable challenging a department owner on performance while keeping the relationship strong. You're hungry to develop — this is a launchpad to the next level, not a place to coast. Experience Required 2-3 years' experience in accounting, finance, or industry. Working towards CA (or similar qualification). Public accounting background preferred. Strong written and verbal communicator — able to explain financial results to non‑finance audiences and influence without authority. Comfortable with AI tools and structured workflow tools. Why Manukora? Be part of a high-growth, purpose-driven brand that truly cares about its people and its product. Complimentary health insurance with Southern Cross. A monthly product allowance — so you can taste the goodness for yourself. #J-18808-Ljbffr
