This is a Wellington-based role, with flexible hybrid working arrangements available. To support your success in this role, we recommend spending at least 3 days per week in the office to connect with your manager and fellow kaimahi, build relationships, and collaborate effectively. You’ll support the successful delivery of a range of sector and strategic programmes across Engineering New Zealand. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate programme activities, provide project support, and ensure the administration and operational requirements of multiple initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively. In this varied role, you’ll: Coordinate programme activities, milestones, meetings and stakeholder engagements from planning through to delivery Provide project and programme support, including tracking timelines, budgets, documentation, risks and deliverables Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders Support reporting, communications and continuous improvement activities across multiple initiatives Ensure high-quality administration, financial tracking and operational support that keeps programmes running smoothly Coordinate logistics, scheduling and resources to ensure programmes and projects run smoothly and meet agreed objectives We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and momentum to complex work programmes. You'll be collaborative, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service. You’ll ideally bring: At least three years’ experience in programme coordination, project coordination, project administration or a similar role within a professional environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience working with external stakeholders coordinating meetings and maintaining project documentation and reporting Experience using project management tools and coordinating work across multiple teams and stakeholders Confidence and fluency using digital systems and Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and sound financial administration capability We want to hear from you if you think you can bring value to the role, not because you tick every box.
