HR & Talent Coordinator

We're looking for an enthusiastic HR /Talent Coordinator to join the People team at Omnicom Advertising. The Opportunity Are you looking for more than just your next HR role? If you're an experienced HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or Recruitment Administrator with around 2–3 years' experience, this is an opportunity to accelerate your career while working alongside an experienced People team within one of New Zealand's leading communications groups. You'll gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, while developing your capability in HR advisory, systems, onboarding, projects and people initiatives. Working across multiple agency brands, you'll build relationships with leaders from a wide range of creative, media, digital and corporate teams, giving you exposure that's difficult to find in a single‑business environment. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys recruitment, loves working with people and is ready to broaden their HR experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative and highly creative business. The Role As part of our People team, you'll play an integral role in delivering recruitment and HR support across Omnicom Advertising and our family of agency brands. Working closely with our Talent Acquisition Lead, HR team and hiring managers, you'll help create exceptional experiences for candidates and employees while ensuring our recruitment and people processes are delivered seamlessly. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to contribute to HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and broader people programmes that will continue to build your capability and experience. Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications and supporting onboarding. Prepare job descriptions and recruitment advertising in partnership with hiring managers. Maintain recruitment systems and employee records (experience with JobAdder and/or Workday is an advantage). Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding activities for new employees. Ensure HR documentation and employee records remain accurate and up to date. Support HR initiatives and projects that enhance employee experience and improve the way we work. Help strengthen our employer brand by delivering an outstanding candidate experience and representing Omnicom Advertising professionally throughout the recruitment process. About You You're an organised, proactive HR professional who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering a great experience for both candidates and employees. You'll ideally bring: Around 2-3 years' experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator, Recruitment Administrator or Talent Acquisition support role. Experience supporting recruitment activities in either an agency or in-house environment. Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High levels of professionalism, discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential information. A collaborative approach, strong emotional intelligence and a genuine passion for people. Curiosity, initiative and a desire to continue learning and growing your HR career. Why Join Us?
