Senior Fire Engineer

A Senior Fire Engineer is required for our busy Auckland office, based in Parnell. The role is full time however a flexible arrangement can be discussed. OnFire Consulting is a fully NZ owned Specialist Fire Engineering Consultancy. We have established a reputation for developing new ideas and approaches to assist our clients with professional innovative fire designs. We have the best of both worlds in being small enough to care, change direction where needed and know what is going on with our team, whilst being large enough with a great reputation to get good projects with great clients. Responsibilities Assisting the Associate Principal Fire Engineer based in the Auckland office including mentoring more junior engineers and undertaking all aspects of consulting fire engineer project related work from concept design through to construction monitoring. Qualifications Experience in performance based consulting fire engineering in NZ is preferred but similar experience in overseas jurisdictions will be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Tertiary qualification in fire engineering is required including use of standard fire engineering models eg. FDS, pathfinder, pyrosim. CPEng or equivalent would be ideal but not necessary if you're close to applying for CPEng. Remuneration Excellent remuneration will be provided whilst also providing excellent work/life balance.
