Senior Civil Engineer

The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in land development, three waters and infrastructure projects to join a well-regarded consultancy in Wellington. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across a diverse national project portfolio. You will lead a small design team across projects taking a project lead role and will report into the Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities Deliver three waters and civil infrastructure design for residential, commercial, and public sector projects. Undertake site inspections and provide technical oversight during design and construction. Prepare and review civil design and modelling documentation, specifications, and reports in line with industry standards. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. About You Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in three waters or land development and infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of three waters, especially stormwater and wastewater design for local councils. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage time effectively and deliver to deadlines. Interest in taking a project lead position and leading a small design team across projects.
