About the Opportunity You will be the engine of Manukora's finance function — delivering world-class accounting and compliance performance across the close, the balance sheet, and a growing piece of our audit and costing work, as we scale globally. We want a Financial Accountant with real fundamentals and a great attitude to match: someone who makes sense of ambiguity fast, owns their work end-to-end, and never stops looking for a better way to do it — then moves fast and gets it right. You'll work closely with our Finance Manager as the function scales, with real license to shape how things run. What You'll Own Monthly close — accurate, on time, every time, no exceptions. You'll drive your lanes of the close calendar end-to-end: journals, accruals, and reconciliations completed to a standard that survives review untouched. Inventory reconciliation is a key focus — variances get hunted down and closed out inside the cycle, never carried forward. Audit-readiness and compliance, built in, not bolted on. You'll help deliver our consolidated annual IFRS financial statements, keep every balance sheet account you own backed by a completed workpaper at month-end sign-off, and help rebuild our accounting policies and controls documentation from the ground up. Local and global tax filings are handled on time, without exception. Standard costing, sharpened as we grow. You'll help develop Manukora's standard costing methodology — BOMs, landed costs, overhead absorption — working shoulder-to-shoulder with Operations so it reflects how product actually moves, and keeping Xero and Cin7 master data clean and governed. Who You Are You hold yourself personally accountable for the accuracy of the numbers — if something's wrong in your area, you own it. No deflecting. You treat the close as a commitment, not a moving target — sequencing the work, chasing dependencies, clearing blockers before they land. Your accounting fundamentals are rock solid — debits and credits, first principles, no shortcuts — and you know when to dig in yourself versus when to elevate. The rest, we'll teach. You default to automation — every manual task is a problem waiting to be solved, and you're already fluent with AI tools to move faster and sharper. Due dates are your worst-case scenario, not your target — if a return can be filed the day the period closes, that's what you aim for. Experience Required 2-3 years' experience in accounting, finance, or industry Working towards CA (or similar qualification) Public accounting background preferred Comfortable with AI tools and structured workflow tools Why Manukora?
