As Chef de Cuisine, you'll have the opportunity to influence our food and beverage offering, develop a talented team and create memorable dining experiences that keep guests returning to our stunning Bass Coast destination. About the Role Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of a busy kitchen operation, ensuring food quality, consistency and service standards are maintained at the highest level. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, coaching and developing a team of chefs and kitchen staff Delivering exceptional food experiences across restaurant, events and functions Managing food costs, stock control and kitchen operations Supporting menu development and culinary innovation Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace safety compliance Driving a positive, high-performing and collaborative team culture Contributing to the overall success of the resort's food and beverage offering About You You’ll be a passionate culinary leader who brings both strong technical skills and a genuine love for developing people. Trade qualified Chef with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Experience leading teams within a commercial kitchen environment Demonstrated experience across multiple kitchen sections within a 4 or 5-star hotel, resort or premium hospitality venue Strong food preparation, stock management and cost control experience Experience training and developing kitchen team members Excellent communication and leadership skills A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure Food Handling Certificate and strong knowledge of food safety requirements Full working rights in Australia Why Join RACV?
