Your impact Our Auckland water team has an exciting pipeline of work across Aotearoa and Australia. Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to appoint a Senior Process Engineer to join our fast-growing Water team. This is a Permanent role (40 hours per week) , and an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of water professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally, nationally and overseas. The purpose of this role is to complete Process Design of various water and wastewater infrastructure projects in addition to performing project management duties for treatment projects where required. Further duties will involve developing and mentoring junior staff and assisting in the growth of the water operation by developing and fostering good client relationships. This role will involve Management and delivery of Process Water Infrastructure Designs, including options assessment, concept design development, reporting, detailed design and construction phases to agreed budgets and schedules Ability to lead, supervise and mentor a project team (water infrastructure) including graduate and intermediate engineers and BIM/GID/CAD staff Effective communicator able to represent Jacobs and manage Client relationships Working collaboratively with a team including on large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs. Here’s what you’ll need Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent Approx 6+ years’ experience in the Water industry and consultancy environment Previous experience within a process engineering environment Good knowledge of relevant industry related New Zealand Standards and codes Understanding of safety in design practices and processes Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively Salary range $95-$105,000 With safety and flexibility always top of mind, we’ve gone beyond traditional ways of working so you have the support, means and space to maximize your potential.
