Join Plumbing World as our Master Data Analyst and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of product and supplier information across the business. About The Opportunity Plumbing World is a relationship-focus business; however, we are also all about the numbers. So, we are looking for someone who can ensure day to day operation of Plumbing World's master data file functions with integrity & accuracy to meet the needs of the business. With a natural ability for working with numbers, you'll be accountable for the maintenance of master data and information across our business. Working closely with our Category and Branch Managers in regards to new products, supplier prices, and end-of-line products. You will also liaise with suppliers regarding product information, supplier codes, costs, and barcode information. This position requires advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA and SQL programming would be useful). The person will have a strong client satisfaction mindset, so your communication skills are key. You will have the ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Problem-solving skills and analysis skills are important traits for this role. What Your Day Will Look Like Run, create and modify reports that assist in day-to-day margin analysis and master data file integrity. Identify items, ranges that are reducing in margin and make recommendations where appropriate. Product loading, promotions, catalogue pricing and special pricing. Work with our IT team to investigate and minimise data-related issues. Maintain audit trail of changes made to master data file. Assist with margin analysis of products within our master data file. Please note that this position is available on a Monday - Friday, full-time, fixed-term basis for one year. To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Advanced Excel skills (VBA/SQL would be useful) Ability to create and modify reporting processes. High level of written and oral communication. Experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential. Strong problem-solving skills and a strong business acumen.
