Access to LinkedIn Learning suite and training opportunities Supportive, transparent and empowering leadership culture About the opportunity We're looking for a Health & Safety Manager to help shape and strengthen health, safety, wellbeing and risk practices across Enatel's global operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll partner with leaders across New Zealand and the United States to build practical, risk-based approaches that keep our people safe, support operational excellence and enable continued business growth This is a highly influential role where you'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, providing expert guidance on critical risks, compliance, governance and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by developing capability, driving positive safety outcomes and helping embed a culture where safety is owned by everyone. Key responsibilities include: Leading Enatel's health, safety, wellbeing and risk initiatives across multiple regions. Partnering with leaders to strengthen critical risk management and operational ownership. Providing trusted advice, coaching and assurance to leaders across the business. Supporting compliance, incident learning and continuous improvement activities. Building organisational capability through effective systems, training and worker engagement. About you To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has: 5+ years' experience in a senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing advisory or leadership role. Experience within manufacturing, engineering or other high-risk operational environments. Strong knowledge of critical risk management and health and safety systems. Experience influencing senior leaders and providing trusted risk-based advice. Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide clear recommendations. Experience developing and presenting health and safety performance reporting to senior leadership teams. Knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislation. Exposure to US operations would be advantageous. Experience leading incident investigations and driving meaningful organisational learning. The ability to develop capability through coaching, training and worker engagement. A relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Risk Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
