Te Haeata/The Opportunity We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our AV & Transcription Services team and help keep critical business systems running effectively across the Ministry. You'll work closely with business users, technical specialists, and vendors to resolve incidents, investigate issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of reliable digital services. You'll work closely with business users, technical specialists, and vendors to resolve incidents, investigate issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of reliable digital services. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll combine problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, testing, and application support to help ensure technology continues to meet the needs of our people and the services they deliver. In This Role You Will Resolve incidents across business-critical applications Investigate defects and identify root causes Analyse application and system issues Support testing of system changes and releases Build relationships with users, vendors, and technical teams Support users to maximise their use in AV and supporting applications Ō Pūkenga/Skills And Experience No candidate will meet every single desired qualification. To Be Successful In This Role You Will Bring application support experience in a complex environment Have experience in desktop, networking and AV solutions Aptitude and willingness to learn technology used to support court hearings Diagnose issues and identify practical solutions Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders Bring knowledge of testing, incident, or problem management Be committed to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi Mō mātou/ About us At Te Tāhū o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to strengthening people's trust in the law of Aotearoa, New Zealand. Within Digital, you will be part of the Court AV and Transcription Services team within Court Services. The team works with front line staff, National Transcription Services business unit and our vendor partners. We are integral in the supporting Judiciary, Stakeholders and Members of the Public in the ability to present their court case within a technical court environment. We support and maintain the Audio and Visual technology including applications to record, transmit, store and transcribe the courtroom audio. Utu ā-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $82,770 and $112,332 based on skills and experience.
