Albany Boys Limited t/a Doughboys Cafe - Cook Job type: Full time at minimum 30 hours per week. Hourly rate: $25-$30 per hour. Duration: Permanent Location of the job: Lake Tekapo We are looking for 2 full-time cooks to assist at a well-known restaurant at World Dark Sky Reserves Lake Tekapo, which has a backdrop of snow mountains, beautiful lupin flowers, and a stunning Tiffany-blue lake. We are looking for 2 cooks to join our dynamic company to bring our business to a new level. This offer is a full-time position with minimum 30 hours per week based on shifts. lMonitoring the quality of cooked foods during preparation and presentation. lPreparing and cooking and seasoning food. lRegulating temperatures of the cooking equipment. lPortion food, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding gravies and sauces. lResponsible for storing food in temperature controlled facilities. lPrepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs. lPlanning and adjusting menus accordingly if needed. lKeeping kitchen tidy and clean and meeting cleaning and safety standards.
