The team is focused on delivering distinctive homes that stand out and feel truly individual. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Havelock North. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost plans, and detailed estimates for residential building projects, ensuring accurate budgets and pricing. The role includes ongoing cost control and cost reporting throughout the construction lifecycle, monitoring expenditure against budgets and identifying variances early. Day-to-day tasks involve working closely with project managers, designers, and suppliers to validate quantities, negotiate pricing, and support procurement decisions. The Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to financial risk analysis, value engineering, and maintaining up-to-date cost data to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery. Qualifications Strong cost planning and cost management skills, including experience preparing detailed budgets and forecasts. Proficiency in BOQ preparation, measurement, and estimating for residential construction projects. Experience in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to track, analyse, and communicate project financial performance. Relevant tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline. Familiarity with New Zealand building codes, standards, and construction contracts. Advanced numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers, and to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Proficiency in quantity surveying and construction cost software, as well as MS Office (Excel, Word). Experience in residential or high-spec housing projects is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
