About the role:

Due to an internal movement, we’re looking for a Business Development Broker to join our Corporate Team based in Beaumont Street, Auckland. Reporting directly to Business Development Manager – Corporate the key focus of this role will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Gallagher’s client base.

• Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities

• Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their unique needs.

• Develop and present tailored insurance and risk management solutions that align with client goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative strategies.

• Represent Gallagher at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to enhance our market presence.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or insurance broking.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving targets.

• Strong understanding of insurance products and risk management solutions.

• A passion for delivering value and driving client success.

• Must have a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)
