Chemistry Tutor

We are seeking a fulltime enthusiastic Chemistry Tutor to join our private after-school training center. You will support middle school students with foundational science and guide senior students through NZQA (NCEA Levels 1–3) , Cambridge AS-Level , and International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry curricula.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Lessons : Teach core chemistry concepts to individual students or small groups.
\n
• Master Curricula : Provide targeted support for Middle School science, NZQA (NCEA Levels 1–3) , Cambridge AS-Level, and IB Diploma Chemistry (SL/HL).
\n
• Prep Exams : Train students for NCEA external standards , internal assessments, AS-Level exams, and IB internal/external assessments.
\n
• Track Progress : Assess student performance and provide regular, constructive feedback to parents.
\n
• Build Curriculum : Develop tailored lesson plans, structured worksheets, and exam-style practice questions aligned with NZQA, Cambridge, and IB matrices.

Required Qualifications

\n
• Education : Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a highly relevant STEM field.
\n
• Experience : Proven experience tutoring secondary school students.
\n
• Communication : Ability to simplify complex molecular theories, organic mechanisms, and mathematical calculations for different age groups.
\n
• Schedule : Availability to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
\n
