Job Description
Lead the transformation of our billing and accounts receivable function while creating a better experience for our customers. Skills Group is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable & Billing Manager to join our Finance team at our Ellerslie office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of three, improve end-to-end billing and collections processes, and deliver a more customer-focused approach to accounts receivable. Working closely with the Head of Finance Operations and stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in redesigning processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring billing and collections are accurate, timely, and easy for customers to navigate. What You'll Be Doing Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Accounts Receivable and Credit Control professionals Redesign billing, direct debit, and collections processes to improve customer experience and operational efficiency Develop standardised processes, service levels, and communication to support accurate and timely billing Monitor billing performance, collections, and key operational metrics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party providers to deliver seamless service Support revenue optimisation by improving billing accuracy, cash flow, and debt collection processes What You'll Bring Five or more years' experience in accounts receivable, billing and credit management Proven experience leading and developing high-performing, customer-focused teams Strong process improvement experience with the ability to map, redesign, and implement operational improvements Experience managing billing and direct debit processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders A collaborative, customer-first approach with strong problem-solving and change management capability Why join Skills Group?
