Role Description The Service Advisor role at DENZA Australia & New Zealand is a full-time, on-site position based in Christchurch. This role is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their service needs, and accurately documenting concerns and vehicle information. The Service Advisor schedules service appointments, prepares job cards, coordinates with technicians, and keeps customers updated on progress, costs, and timelines. They explain recommended repairs, review invoices with customers, and ensure that all work is completed to company and safety standards. Day-to-day activities also include managing service records, handling enquiries by phone and email, supporting warranty and recall processes, and contributing to a positive, efficient workshop environment. Qualifications Experience in automotive service advising, customer service, or a related front-of-house dealership role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, customer-friendly language. Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple customer requests. Comfort with digital tools and dealership systems, such as service booking platforms, CRM software, and basic office applications. Attention to detail in documentation, invoicing, and maintaining accurate service records. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and coordinating with technical teams. Knowledge of automotive systems or a strong interest in learning about electric and advanced vehicles. Ability to work on-site in Christchurch, collaborate effectively in a team setting, and uphold health and safety standards. Previous experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with warranty processes are beneficial.
