The Opportunity CSR are seeking a commercially focused and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our team based in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key multi-brand customers across the North Island, driving sustainable sales growth while building strong, long-term customer partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working autonomously, developing strategic account plans, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment. As the Account Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting and growing revenue within the multi-brand channel. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, execute commercial initiatives, and ensure outstanding service delivery. In This Role You Will Manage and grow a portfolio of multi-brand customer accounts across the North Island. Develop strong customer relationships and become a trusted business partner. Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for growth. Deliver sales, revenue, volume, and margin targets. Develop and execute account growth and customer development plans. Negotiate pricing, promotions, contractual agreements, and trading terms. Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance teams to deliver customer solutions. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and reporting. Ensure the successful execution of commercial and promotional initiatives. What You’ll Bring Proven success in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation skills. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into sustainable growth. Highly organised with excellent time management skills. Construction or Building Industry highly regarded Ability and willingness to travel throughout the North Island as required.
