Job Description
We are looking to expand our Architectural team of talented and dedicated people in our Auckland and Christchurch Studio to collaborate on projects throughout New Zealand and Australia. We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join this team in a full time, permanent capacity. Skills & Experience Architectural Technicians work with their allocated manager and under the direction of the Project Leader or Associate, requiring close working relationships with their project team at MODE to deliver high quality design, documentation and construction outcomes. They will collaborate with their team in a highly effective manner which includes mentoring and overviewing junior staff as appropriate to meet deadlines and project requirements. Profile and Responsibilities The successful candidate will have Relevant Qualifications: A recognised qualification with strong design, documentation, and construction knowledge. Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years post-graduate employment experience Advanced BIM and Design Capabilities: Proven Revit and BIM proficiency with the ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality project documentation. Project and Coordination Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and coordinate to ensure efficient project delivery. Strong Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. Personal Drive and Professionalism: A self-motivated, results-driven, and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to exceeding client expectations. You will be able to Deliver Design Excellence: Prepare and deliver compliant, high-quality designs and documentation, integrating innovative solutions and supporting planning, building, and construction processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements. Drive Project Efficiency and Team Success: Support project leaders to achieve time, cost, and quality goals while coordinating stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.
