We are currently looking for an auditor to join our Auckland team. This is a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $73,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on audit jobs for a wide range of clients. This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with travel to client sites required. While most work is Auckland-based, occasional travel outside of Auckland may be required. We are currently recruiting for multiple auditors to join our team.

The role will involve:

  • Completing audit fieldwork and assigned audit sections

  • Preparing audit workpapers and supporting financial statement preparation

  • Identifying audit risks and gathering audit evidence

  • Liaising with clients and audit team members

  • Meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

  • Using audit systems, including CaseWare, and Microsoft Excel effectively

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum 1+ years' audit experience in a CA or public practice environment, and on track to complete your CA/CPA studies

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • An ability to engage with clients and team members

  • Audit assignment knowledge and experience

  • Systems knowledge (bonus points for CaseWare)

  • Professionalism and a 'can-do' attitude

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • The desire to work in a rewarding environment
