Citycare Property is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Auckland-based Project Office team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of capital works projects, you'll be responsible for developing accurate, competitive tenders that help secure and deliver projects for government, infrastructure and community-focused customers across New Zealand.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded estimator who enjoys problem solving, building strong industry relationships, and playing a key role in winning work.
What You'll Be Doing | Nga Kawenga Takohanga
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders for capital works projects.
- Develop accurate pricing, cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Portfolio Managers to develop winning bids.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
What You'll Bring | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe
You're an experienced estimator who enjoys turning opportunities into successful projects. You bring strong commercial judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently work across multiple tenders.
- Proven experience estimating capital works, construction, refurbishment or infrastructure projects.
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience preparing successful tenders.
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, estimating principles and project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
