We're partnering with a large public sector organisation seeking an experienced ERP Manager to provide leadership across critical enterprise systems that support a diverse workforce and wide-ranging operational functions. You will take ownership of a significant TechnologyOne environment, drive future capability, and play a key role in organisational performance and transformation. Based in central Wellington, this permanent leadership position offers the chance to combine strategic thinking, people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and systems expertise in a highly visible role. The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll lead a specialist ERP team and take responsibility for the performance, optimisation, and future direction of the organisation's ERP ecosystem. You'll act as the key business owner for enterprise applications, ensuring systems, processes, and reporting capabilities support organisational objectives while delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful information to decision-makers. A significant part of the role will involve partnering closely with TechnologyOne and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver the ERP roadmap, including upgrades, enhancements, process improvements, and future capability investments. Key responsibilities include: Providing strategic leadership and governance across ERP applications and associated business processes Owning the ERP roadmap, including system enhancements, upgrades, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives Building strong relationships with TechnologyOne and other key vendors Leading organisational change and business process transformation projects Supporting Finance, HR, and operational stakeholders to maximise system capability and business outcomes Leading and developing a team of ERP specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Ensuring systems deliver reliable, accurate, and timely business information About You You’ll bring a combination of ERP expertise, people leadership, and business partnering skills, along with the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery. We're interested in hearing from professionals who can demonstrate: 5+ years' experience managing enterprise ERP environments, ideally across Finance and HR functions Strong experience with ERP application ownership, support, upgrades, optimisation, and vendor management A proven track record leading ERP or business systems teams Experience driving organisational change, systems improvements, and business process transformation Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation Experience working with TechnologyOne or a comparable enterprise platform A background in finance systems, ERP implementation, business applications, or enterprise systems management What's on Offer This organisation is committed to creating an environment where people can do meaningful work while continuing to grow their careers.
