Handyman / Maintenence Manager

Flame Bar and Grill – Queenstown, South Island Flame Bar & Grill is one of Queenstown’s most loved and iconic Steakhouse's. We also have Sunfire - both restaurants are located in the Steamer Wharf complex on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. About the role Looking for a hard working person with experience in keeping a busy hospitality environment operationally reliable and in excellent condition. You are tasked with the day-to‑day maintenance and upkeep of our restaurants right in the heart of Queenstown. Flexible hours are available with the expectation of weekend work. Logical approach to problem solving Diagnose faults and issues with equipment and or get correct tradeperson to fix Good communication skills to lease with other trades Monitor outstanding maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of works Must have sound general Engineering/Maintenance knowledge and trade background advantageous Must be able to work independently Professional and strong work ethic Supervision of offsite warehouse storage facility - vehicle included. We are offering a minimum 30 hour contract.
