About the role: This is a part-time permanent (3 x days) role that involves store deliveries and providing knowledgeable sales advice and service to a diverse range of horticultural and agricultural clients. When not out delivering, you'll be hands-on with daily store operations, including stock management, picking, packing, and bulk storage duties, or supporting the retail store operations, including stock management and sales processing. Having worked collaboratively in a team environment and being a proactive person who is just happy to get stuck in will set you apart from others! Even better if you have experience as a driver, courier or within a warehouse/logistics environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Undertake forklift operating within store and truck driving for client delivery duties Offer advice to customers Solve queries and problems from customers, suppliers, and staff Efficiently process sales and product requests Order, unpack, and display merchandise according to company guidelines Skills & Experience: Class 2 license is essential for deliveries A full, current, and clean New Zealand driver licence A team player who can roll up their sleeves and contribute to outstanding results Good physical fitness as some lifting up to 20kgs is required Previous retail and/or sales experience is an advantage but not essential Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential We are committed to growing our employees through developing technical expertise and leadership abilities, opening the doors to a challenging and rewarding career in the rural industry.
