About the Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead and support the Production Kitchen team to ensure meals are produced to exact specifications, delivered on time, and meet the highest food quality and safety standards. You'll also play an important role in mentoring staff, managing costs, reducing waste, and contributing to menu development. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff Ensure all meals are produced to exact quality specifications Maintain exceptional HACCP and food safety standards Monitor food costs, labour costs and minimise food waste Assist with ordering and stock control Support menu development and provide culinary expertise Work closely with the wider kitchen management team Deliver a safe, efficient and high-performing kitchen environment This is your chance to join a high-performing production kitchen, leading a team that prepares premium in-flight catering for international airlines. You will be required to: Work one weekend day each week as part of your regular roster. Work either 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2:00pm - 10:30pm, depending on the season and operational requirements. We're looking for chefs who have: A Level 5 Culinary qualification (or equivalent). A current Food Safety Certificate. At least 2-3 years' experience in a Sous Chef or similar leadership role. Strong organisational skills and a passion for producing quality food. The ability to lead by example in a busy commercial kitchen. What's on Offer?
