About the Role Join a highly specialised cancer service where advanced nursing practice makes a tangible difference to patient outcomes, access, and experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nurse Practitioner Candidate (NPC) to work within Medical Oncology, providing expert clinical care across the cancer journey. In this advanced practice role, you will deliver autonomous, evidence-based assessment and management, while also working collaboratively with Senior Medical Officers and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, consistent, and timely treatment. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver nurse-led clinics, contribute to case management and referral pathways, and support service development that improves access for patients and their families/whānau across the region. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced oncology/haematology nurse who is already endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner, or who is on the NP pathway and ready to step into a supported candidate role.
