Job Description

Lead equitable maternal and child health services for Pacific families Tongan Health Society is seeking a senior Registered Nurse to provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership across our Kahu Taurima, Well Child Tamariki Ora and B4 School Check services. You will report to the Clinical Services Manager, maintain an active clinical caseload and have protected time for service coordination, quality, data review, reporting and team support. About the role Lead daily clinical coordination, caseload allocation, overdue-contact recovery and service priorities. Review monthly cohorts for pregnant mothers, new babies, WCTO contacts and B4 School Checks. Support nurses with clinical practice, documentation, referrals and escalation. Monitor service performance and prepare clear, evidence-based reports. Work closely with the Clinical Services Manager, Quality and Informatics and partner services. About you Current New Zealand Registered Nurse registration and Annual Practising Certificate. A senior clinician with substantial post-registration experience and demonstrated clinical leadership. Experience in WCTO, maternal and child health, primary care, community nursing or public health. Strong skills in service coordination, quality improvement, data interpretation and reporting. Committed to equity, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, cultural safety and Pacific health outcomes. Postgraduate study, Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Specialist experience, B4SC expertise, maternity or midwifery experience, and a Pacific language are highly desirable.
