PLASTIC TECHNICIAN – Single Stage Injection Blow moulding Insight Recruitment – Auckland, North Island Rarely offered Dayshift, Mon - Fri 7.00 am - 3.30 pm Our client is an established division of a highly successful organisation that holds significant contracts to manufacture and supply food packaging products to Iconic NZ businesses. Planning to future-proof their company, they are in a solid growth phase and are excited to be busy. The business is investing in new equipment and refurbishing their premises. We are seeking an experienced SINGLE -STAGE BLOW MOULDING Technician to focus on PROCESS OPTIMISATION and provide technical support to a team of competent Die Setters. Ensuring that the continuous smooth running of ten (10) machine centres in the PET department is key to the success of this position. Your experience has likely been acquired on Nissei or Aoki machinery. To slot into this team, you will be an excellent communicator who is willing to share ideas, has a good eye for detail and is focused on delivering a quality product. Attributes sought: Your contribution towards the efficient running of the production floor and support for continuous improvement efforts. (5S) You will hold a recognised qualification in plastics (Level 4) and be able to work independently to set up and change over tools as well as post-production equipment. Previous involvement trialling new multi-cavity tools and suggesting improvements. The ability to solve process, equipment and quality problems. Quality Inspection of products to conform with specifications OSH training and safe work practices.
