About the Role As an Environmental Consultant at Enviroscope, you'll work closely with our experienced team to support a wide variety of projects. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, from site assessments and monitoring through to reporting and client engagement. What You'll Be Doing Preparing Environmental Management Plans and compliance documentation Undertaking contaminated land assessments and preparing technical reports, including Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI), Detailed Site Investigations (DSI), Site Management Plans (SMP), and Remedial Action Plans (RAP), in accordance with relevant New Zealand legislation, industry guidelines, and council requirements. Conducting environmental monitoring and site inspections Collecting field data, including soil and water quality samples Preparing technical reports and client deliverables Supporting construction and development projects across Otago Liaising with clients, contractors, councils, iwi, and other stakeholders Assisting with environmental compliance and regulatory requirements Contributing to practical solutions that help clients achieve environmental outcomes About You We're looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, is highly motivated, organised, and enjoys working both in the field and in the office. A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography, Natural Resources, or a related discipline Experience in environmental consulting or a related environmental role would be beneficial Working knowledge of New Zealand environmental legislation Understanding of environmental compliance and monitoring requirements Experience within the construction, infrastructure, or land development sectors (highly regarded) GIS skills and experience with environmental data management and reporting tools Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders A proactive attitude and willingness to learn A full New Zealand driver's licence Why Join Enviroscope?
