Chemist Surveyor

FULL TIME ROLE WITH INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES (NZ) LIMITED Intertek Testing Services (NZ) Ltd. is part of a World Leading organization in Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification. We are looking to find an Experienced Chemist/Petroleum Surveyor to pursue a long-term career with Intertek We have an opportunity in New Plymouth in the Taranaki region. The employee will also be required to work at any other Port in New Zealand on a travel basis from the primary location of New Plymouth. This is a full-time employment role with a minimum of 7.5 hrs per day /162.5 Hrs monthly. A competitive remuneration package of between $80,000 and $100,000 will be offered depending on qualifications, experience and the package chosen. Vehicle and other reimbursable allowances may also apply and will be detailed in the IEA. The role will include below but not limited to the following: Analysis of various Petroleum/Chemicals and Tallow as per relevant ASTM/IP/UOP methods Perform equipment Calibrationand QC checks Analysis of water (Raw, Process and Wastewater) Analysis of LPG Bunker Surveys Sampling & Gauging of Petroleum, Petrochemical, Crude Oil, Tallow and any other commodities Calculations & Reporting Travelling to other ports for Inspection/Laboratory related work We are looking for an experienced Chemist/surveyor with at least 10 years' experience in the Petroleum field with sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Quality Management. Knowledge and ability to handle LIMS and reporting results through LIMS will be considered as an added asset.
