We are seeking an experienced and motivated Line Mechanic to join our Christchurch-based team. About the Role As a Line Mechanic, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical network assets. You will work across a variety of projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power networks Pole and line installation, replacement, and repairs Fault response and emergency restoration work Conducting inspections and network maintenance activities Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and industry standards Completing accurate job documentation and reporting What We're Looking For New Zealand Line Mechanic Registration (or equivalent recognised qualification) Current EWRB practising licence preferred Experience working on distribution networks Strong commitment to health and safety Ability to work effectively within a team environment Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements advantageous) Strong communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive remuneration package Ongoing training and professional development Modern equipment and tools Supportive team culture Opportunities for career progression Stable, long-term employment with a respected organisation Applicants must be legally entitlted to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
