Finishing Technician

We're looking for a Finishing Technician to join our Quality Inspection team and help prepare precision machined components for customer delivery. No machining experience is required. We're looking for people with exceptional attention to detail, patience, and a genuine pride in producing high-quality work. About the role Reporting to the Quality Inspection Manager, this is a hands-on role focused on the finishing of high-precision machined components. Using microscopes, magnification equipment, and precision hand tools, you'll deburr, polish, clean, and prepare components to the quality standards expected by some of the world's most demanding industries. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, good eyesight, patience, and the ability to maintain concentration while performing precise work to defined standards. Every part matters. The work is meticulous, rewarding, and plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive products that meet the highest quality expectations. Key responsibilities Deburr, polish, clean, and finish precision machined components Use microscopes and magnification equipment to identify and remove burrs and surface imperfections Prepare components for final inspection and customer delivery Follow documented work instructions and quality procedures Handle components carefully to prevent damage and contamination Identify and report defects or quality concerns Maintain accurate production and quality records Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the Quality Inspection team About you Excellent attention to detail Good eyesight and the ability to identify fine defects and imperfections Patient, methodical, and able to perform precise work consistently Comfortable working with small, intricate components Able to maintain concentration for extended periods Reliable, dependable, and committed to quality Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to follow procedures and work instructions accurately Bonus points if you have Experience in manufacturing, assembly, finishing, inspection, or quality-related work Experience using microscopes, magnification equipment, or precision hand tools Experience in aerospace, medical, defence, or other high-precision manufacturing environments Experience working to documented quality standards and procedures What we offer Full training provided Modern advanced manufacturing facility School-hour positions may be available for suitable applicants If you're the kind of person who notices the details others miss, takes pride in producing quality work, and enjoys working with precision and care, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
