About the Role An opportunity has become available for an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-performing product development team. Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you will play a key role in designing, building and supporting software solutions across the entire product lifecycle. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, including integrations with Large Language Models, while contributing to technical leadership, solution design and continuous improvement activities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead technical delivery activities across assigned projects Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements Design, develop, test and deploy software applications and integrations Develop and refine AI prompts and conversational experiences Integrate solutions with Model-as-a-Service and LLM platforms Monitor, analyse and optimise application performance Exposure to emerging AI and conversational technology platforms Opportunity to influence technical direction and engineering standards Collaborative and supportive team environment Variety of project-based work with broad technical ownership Professional growth within a technology-driven business Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline At least 5 years’ experience within a structured software development environment Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies Experience delivering solutions from requirements gathering through to deployment and support Knowledge of AI technologies, conversational platforms, speech recognition or related technologies will be advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders [Please note, we can only consider applicants that are legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application.] #J-18808-Ljbffr
