Registered ACC Sensitive Claims Practitioner Registered and experienced as an ACC Sensitive Claims Practitioner and approved to deliver Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC) At Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge, every day we walk alongside wāhine, tāne, tamariki, rangatahi and whānau as they navigate some of life's most difficult experiences. Our kaupapa is grounded in restoring mana, promoting safety, and supporting healing through culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice. We are continuing to grow our specialist services and are seeking an experienced, registered ACC Sensitive Claims Practitioner to join our passionate multidisciplinary team. Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge HUB About the Role... As an ACC Sensitive Claims Practitioner, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. Working within ACC's Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims framework, you will support clients throughout their healing journey while working collaboratively alongside our experienced advocacy, Safe House, tamariki, rangatahi and family violence practitioners. This role offers the unique opportunity to integrate therapeutic practice within a well-established family violence service, ensuring clients receive holistic, wrap-around support. Support our 24/7 crisis line along with all kaimahi. About You... Registered and experienced as an ACC Sensitive Claims Practitioner and approved to deliver Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC) (only ACC registered and experienced practitioners will be accepted for consideration) A registered health professional with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Experienced in trauma therapy and supporting survivors of sexual violence Passionate about delivering person-centred, strengths-based care Committed to culturally safe and responsive practice Confident working independently while valuing multidisciplinary collaboration An excellent communicator with strong professional boundaries Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice We Are Looking For Someone With Experience In... Trauma-informed therapeutic interventions Complex trauma and recovery Risk assessment and safety planning Working alongside family violence and sexual violence survivors Developing therapeutic treatment plans Working collaboratively with external agencies and multidisciplinary teams Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation in line with ACC requirements What We Offer... Essential Requirements... ACC Sensitive Claims Provider registration and an experienced sensitive claims practitioner Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice. Understands the importance of tikanga, whakawhanaungatanga, and working in partnership with whānau. Relevant professional registration and current Annual Practising Certificate Current New Zealand Driver Licence Eligibility to work in New Zealand Excellent written and verbal communication skills Join Our HUB Team...
