Commercial Accounts Administrator - Flooring The Flooring Room – Tauranga, North Island The Flooring Room provides flooring to residential and commercial customers. We are currently seeking an detail-oriented Commercial Administrator/Accounts person to join our team. About you Has previous experience in accounts or administration. Is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Can confidently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with people. Is proactive and takes pride in finding solutions. Is confident using computer systems and learning new software. Payroll, accounts, or commercial administration experience would be an advantage. Experience within the construction or flooring industry would be beneficial but is not essential. Working closely with our management and commercial team, you'll be responsible for a range of administrative and accounts functions: Desired skills and qualifications A strong team player who thrives on supporting a high-performing sales team. Proven experience in business administration. Strong knowledge of debtor management and customer invoicing. Familiarity with software packages, including MS Office . Health & Safety administration and compliance. Managing commercial claims, retentions, and contract administration. Supporting our Commercial Sales team with documentation, project administration, and customer communication. Processing payroll accurately and on time. Providing general administrative support to management and assisting with business improvement initiatives. This is a varied role that plays an important part in keeping our commercial projects, finances, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and is always happy to lend a hand where needed. Your responsibilities will include ordering stock, accounts receivable and payable, debtor management, overseeing banking including accurate and timely payments, customer invoicing & payments and utilizing various software packages to support our administrative functions. Solid computer literacy is required. We operate with a purpose built flooring software package and although training will be provided, the ability to pick up and learn a new system quickly is important. We can be flexible on hours and the scope of the role for the right person. The minimum hours required would be 20 hours per week, however this could increase to 30 hours per week by mutual agreement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
